Maple Glazed Turkey

Ingredients:

- 1 turkey leg

- 15g thyme

- 1/2 orange, sliced

- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

- At least 2 hours before serving (up to overnight), dry brine your turkey leg with a generous amount of salt and pepper. Leave on a wire rack in the fridge.

- When ready to roast, preheat your oven to 160C. Drizzle the turkey leg generously with olive oil and stuff thyme sprigs and orange slices underneath the skin. Glaze the skin of the turkey with the maple syrup and Worcestershire sauce and season with additional salt and pepper.

- Place into the oven for an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 180C, basting every 20 minutes with the juices. Remove and let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
